FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed multi-chamber fluidised bed furnace comprises housing 1 with loading 2 and unloading 3 branch pipes, gas-distribution grate 4, partitions 5 with openings at their top part arranged to divide the furnace into chambers, partitions in 2nd and 3rd chambers with overflow openings 8 arranged at their bottom to form semi-chambers. In compliance with proposed invention, the furnace incorporates additionally a device designed to remove sediments formed ahead of overflow openings, arranged ahead of the lower overflow opening of the partition and representing vertical guide columns 11 rigidly attached to gas-distribution grate surface. Frame 12 with screen 13 is arranged between guide columns to reciprocate up and down, and visa versa, along the column height. Note here that the area of frame with screen exceeds that of overflow section of the opening of partition by some 1.3 to 1.4 times. Mechanical drive 14 is jointed to the frame representing a rope fastened to four angles of frame 12 and jointed, via block 15, to the load hoisting handle or mechanism.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of furnace and finished product yield.
