FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-ferrous metallurgy, namely to the preparation of carnallite raw materials for electrolysis by dewatering in a fluidized bed furnace and dust waste processing. Preparation of carnallite includes its supply to a three-chamber fluidized bed furnace, its sequential movement through a series of horizontally arranged furnace chambers with simultaneous treatment with flue gases, dewatering. The exhaust gases are discharged through the flue and the exhaust gases are cleaned from the resulting carnallite dust in cyclones, followed by its return to the furnace chamber following the flow of the material. The exhaust gases of the third chamber of the fluidized bed furnace are additionally cleaned from carnallite dust in a bag filter. At the same time, the vacuum pressure is maintained under the arch of the third chamber of the fluidized bed furnace equal to 0.01-0.09 kPa. The vacuum pressure drop in the bag filter is no more than 2 kPa. The temperature of the exhaust gases in the flue at the outlet of the third chamber of the fluidized bed furnace is not higher than 260°C. The captured carnallite dust in the bag filter is extracted for further use as a raw material for the electrolytic production of magnesium and chlorine.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase the degree of gas purification and capture of carnallite dust to 99.0-99.5%, reduce the loss of dehydrated carnallite with dust while saving raw materials received from the supplier by expanding the raw material base.
