OIL EXTRACTION METHOD Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC E21B43/00 E21B33/03

Abstract RU 2367777 C1

FIELD: oil-and-gas production.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining industry and can be used in exploiting oil fields through remote, automatic and manual control of actuating mechanisms of oil well shutting-off devices. According to the method, oil well pads are drilled on an oil field and equipped. In the production casings of these wells, tubing strings are made, fitted with underground production equipment and wellhead equipment. Production equipment comprises an underground device for cutting off flow of oil in the well. Wellhead equipment comprises an X-mas tree with shutting-off devices - wing and casing valves. A throttle valve is mounted in the flow line and monitoring and control devices are installed for the safety shut-off system of the well - low- and high-pressure control valve and a fuse link. The well pads are connected to a station or unit of a station for controlling shutting-off devices of the X-mass tree and underground cut-off device. The control station is provided with a pump-accumulator unit and is connected through an actuating medium to the control unit of well shutting-off devices. The pump-accumulator unit is fitted with a group of pumps supplied by a container of actuating medium and a power functional hydropneumatic accumulator, connected to a high-pressure line. The control unit is fitted with power lines for functional control of shutting-off devices and a logical control line for the said shutting-off devices connected to them through trigger mechanisms. Trigger mechanisms control on/off switching of pressure in the said functional control power lines. Oil extraction processes are controlled with provision for, if necessary, automatic well shutting off in the logical sequence: wing valve - casing valve - underground cut-off device with given gradually increasing delay of command transmission for closing the casing valve and underground cut-off device.

EFFECT: more reliable and accident-free operation of an oil field, reduced cost and simplification of the process of managing extraction of oil.
