METHOD OF EXPLOITING OIL FIELD Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC E21B43/00 E21B33/03

Abstract RU 2367779 C1

FIELD: oil-and-gas production.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to exploitation of a gas-condensate field through remote, automatic and manual control of actuating mechanisms of well shutting-off devices. The method involves drilling exploratory wells, field delineating and assessment of natural hydrocarbon resources. Single or pad forming production wells are drilled. Flow lines and gathering manifolds are laid down, as well as utility systems. Complex and preliminary gas-condensate preparation equipment is fitted. Production wells are fitted with an X-mas tree, which includes a wing valve and a casing valve. The wells are fitted with an underground safety valve and the flow line is fitted with a throttle valve and monitoring and control devices - fuse link and a low- and high-pressure control valve. The wells are operated while controlling gas-condensate extraction processes. Part of the production wells of the pad and field is connected to a station or unit of stations for controlling the X-mas tree and underground safety valve. Each of the said stations is fitted with a pump-accumulator unit and a control unit for well shutting-off devices, connected to it through an actuating medium. The pump accumulator unit is fitted with a group of pumps, supplied by a tank with actuating medium, and a modular-sectional power functional hydropneumatic accumulator, connected to a high-pressure line. The control unit is fitted with power lines for functional control of shutting-off devices, supplied by the said line through pressure regulators, and a logical control line for the said well shutting-off devices, connected to the shutting-off devices through trigger mechanisms, which control pressure. Well control is carried out with automatic provision for a logical shut-off sequence: wing valve - casing valve - underground safety valve, executed through delay systems.

EFFECT: more reliable and accident-free operation of a gas-condensate field, reduced cost of extracting gas-condensate, simpler process of controlling extraction processes due to automated control of shutting-off devices of output wells.
