SUBSTANCE: proposed delay cap generates detonation pulse when preset time expires proposed device comprises a barrel accommodating main charge of high-explosive charge (HE), sleeve with through hole to house combustion transformer, insert with retarding composition and igniter. Incendiary charge is arranged between aforesaid igniter and insert, while, aforesaid between insert and sleeve, diaphragm with through two-step hole filled with igniting composition is arranged with its minor diametre facing the insert. Insert with retarding charge represents a steel tube with end flanges to form circular space between the barrel inner wall and tube outer wall. Note here that between the flanges and barrel a minimum positive allowance is provided.
