FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of analytical chemistry and can be used in various branches of national economy. The method of bismuth determination in the ores and ore concentrates by the method of stripping voltammetry lies in bismuth extraction from the ore, its transferring from sample to the solution and implementation of voltammetric determination. The bismuth extraction from the ore is carried out with usage of extractive concentration of dithizone chloroform solution with complexing agent and following registration of bismuth anode peaks in the mode of accumulation voltammetry on graphite electrode with covering "in situ" in the mixed solution during 120-150 s at electrolysis potential (-0.3÷-0.4) V of the relatively saturated silver-chloride electrode against 0.5 M HNO3 at potential scan rate 60-80 mV/s; concentration is determined at peak height in the potentials range from -0.195 to -0.160 V by addition of certified mixtures.
EFFECT: bismuth determination in the ores and ore concentrates by the method of stripping voltammetry.
