SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-voltage pulse technology and can be used for generating high-voltage pulses with duration of the leading edge of several nanoseconds. The high-voltage pulse generator has a pulsed high-voltage source, control generator, n circuits of series-connected transistors, with "avalanche breakdown" mode. The input of the control generator is connected to the control terminal of the high-voltage source, and the output of the control generator is connected to the control terminal of each of the n circuits.
EFFECT: increased load capacity and safety of using the device.
