FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of instrument making and may be used in lighting plants of different purpose. In order to achieve this result, resource of electric lamps is increased on the basis of optimal pulse sequence creation. At the same time pulse sequence is formed, as well as number of pulses in pulse packet and duration of pauses between pulses and between pulse packets. Besides to reduce intensity of metal ion thermoelectric emission (MITE), pulse duration is formed less than MITE time, and pause between pulses - more than MITE time.
EFFECT: expansion of functional resources.
