DEVICE FOR SHEEP CONVEYING FOR ZOO-VETERINARY TREATMENT Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A61D11/00 

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, particularly to devices for sheep conveying for zoo-veterinary treatment. Device includes conveyor connected to sheep conveying unit being made inclined with increase towards zoo-veterinarian's table as a closed band rotating on pulleys. Sheep conveying unit includes power-drive station and tension station whereon power-drive pulley and tension pulley are mounted correspondingly. Working surfaces of these pulleys have grooves enabling closed band to pass without rising over their surface. The device is equipped with dismountable frame made as an angle. Frame connects both stations and consists of two halves connected by two poles functioning as connecting elements, and by elements preventing angle deformation. Guiding shield is mounted on the top of tension station to prevent sheep from rolling down during conveying thereof. Supporting elements shaped as rubberised fingers are installed inside closed band web, which prevents sheep from rolling down at the moment of ascending of the latter onto the zoo-veterinarian's table. Slots are provided in zoo-veterinarian table, enabling to exclude distance between table and conveyor head pulley for unobstructed passing of supporting elements through slots.

EFFECT: application of the invention will enable to reduce injuries of maintenance personnel and animals, as well as to lower labour intensiveness while conveying seep for treatment.
