FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to dental surgery and can be used for evaluating location of drains during surgical treatment of phlegmons of deep cellular face zones. Radiography is performed during post-operation period of the patients with phlegmons of deep cellular face zones with further evaluation of X-ray images on X-ray view box. Location of the drain shall be as follows: at plegmon of the undermasticatory zone the drain shall be located on external surface near the front or rear edge of ramus of lower jaw bone; at plegmon of pterygoid mandibular zone - on internal surface near the front or rear edge of ramus of lower jaw bone; at phlegmon of peripharyngeal zone - near belemnold of temporal bone; at phlegmon of base of tongue - in the centre of lower jaw bone on the level of crowns of 36th, 46th teeth.
EFFECT: method allows reducing the risk of further propagation of pyoinflammatory process.
