FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: it is received slab from steel, containing carbon (C), silicon (Si), manganese (Mn), phosphorus (P), sulphur (S), titanium (Ti), oxygen (O), nitrogen (N), copper (Cu) and/or nickel (Ni), iron (Fe) and unavoidable admixtures, at following ratio of components, wt %: C 0.02 - 0.06, Si 0.05 - 0.30, Mn 1.7 - 2.7, P not more than 0.015, S not more than 0.010, Ti 0.005 - 0.015, O 0.0010 - 0.0045, N 0.0020 - 0,0060, Cu not more than 0,25 and/or Ni not more than 0.5, Fe and unavoidable admixtures the rest. In the capacity of unavoidable admixtures steel contain aluminium (Al) not more than 0.004, niobium (Nb) not more than 0.003 and vanadium (V) not more than 0.030. Content of steel fulfil conditions: CeH=C+1/4Si-1/24Mn+1/48Cu+1/32M+1/0.4Nb+1/2V not more than 0.04, where C, Si, Mn, Cu, Ni, Nb, V - content in steel, wt % carbon, silicon, manganese, copper, nickel, niobium and vanadium. Received slab is heated up to temperature not more than 1100°C and subject to thermomechanical treatment.
EFFECT: steel allows high strength and impact elasticity.
