FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to hydrotechnical construction of hydraulic fill dams on water-permeable foundation. Method includes creation of internal blanket located on surface of natural or manmade water-permeable foundation, and double-sided layer-wise silting of quarry soil is carried out, being realised with arrangement of settling pond above fine-grain soil of central area. Internal blanket is created in process of dam silting from fine-grain fractions of silted soil by means of water-permeable web made of geotextile material. Prior to layer-wise silting of soil, water-permeable web is placed on surface of water-permeable foundation so that upper edge of water-permeable web is installed under upper prism of dam intended for silting, and lower edge is located under lower prism of dam intended for silting and at a distance from lower primary banking dam. Diametre of water-conducting holes of water-permeable web is determined provided that at first transition layer is created directly upstream water-permeable web, within the limits of which pore space in filtered soil is mudded by non-cohesive soil according to reverse filter principle, and then antifiltration layer is created upstream this transition layer, within the limits of which pore space in filtering soil is mudded with non-cohesive soil. It means that rated diametre of water-conducting holes in water-permeable web satisfies the following condition: , where is maximum diametre of soil particles, which may be moved in process of dam silting by filtration flow to water-permeable web. Upper primary banking dam is made of weakly permeable soil and is coupled with water-permeable web, and lower primary banking dam is made of filtering soil. Water from settling pond by means of pump station is supplied to quarry.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to erect fill dam on water-permeable foundation.
