FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to well geophysical investigations and namely to electric logging instruments used during boring. Electric logging device using during boring consists of an electric divider installed between a pipe string and the lower part of the boring tool. To the middle of the boring tool lower part there applied is electric insulating coating above which at least one electrode is installed. Between the pipe string and the lower part of the boring tool a transmission device is arranged. At that, the electrode is connected to the lower part of the boring tool through the current metre the output of which is connected to the first input of the transmission device and the potential metre the output of which is connected to the second input of the transmission device. On both sides of the electrode there can also be installed additional electrodes electrically connected through the key device to the lower part of the boring tool and connected through current generator to the transmission device.

EFFECT: enlarging functional capabilities of the device as well as increasing informativity of the logging geophysical data.
