FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed pump comprises wall (3; 21, 22; 31, 32, 33) that makes closed chamber (1) for operating medium and can be forced by first force (F) towards decreasing the volume and, thereafter, by second force towards increasing volume. Inlet valve (8) communicates with inlet hole (6), while outlet valve (9) is fitted in outlet pipe (7). Pump design allows occupying smaller space provided it is made as a vacuum pump the volume of which can decrease on applying external first force to elastically deformable material (2; 21, 22; 33). Restoring force of the latter forms the second force acting against rarefaction.
EFFECT: possibility to be used as prosthesis, or prosthesis hydraulic drive.
