SUBSTANCE: invention relates to remote accessing a client computer through a firewall. Architecture is proposed for establishing and supporting connection of terminal services from an external client to an internal client of an intranetwork behind a firewall. The external user is authenticated first, after which the external client is then referred to a remote user portal. The list of accessible internal computers is presented to the external client user. Selection of one of them triggers the intranetwork server to create a listening socket and a socket on the selected internal client. The server creates a stream, which controls connection of terminal services between the external client and the internal client through traffic interception and directing traffic between ports.
EFFECT: invention allows for easy and safe connection to a remote client computer behind a firewall.
