SUBSTANCE: invention is in the field of masking namely inflatable radar reflectors. It is intended for protection of surface ships of auxiliary and mobilisable vessels against anti-ship missiles with target seeking devices. The inflatable radar reflector contains casing comprising inflatable vessels assembled in the form of octahedron and reflecting element mounted inside and formed by three orthogonal planes made of reflecting material. Canopy is connected with casing inflatable vessels forming faces. The vessels are connected between each other by joint assembly at right angle. The vessels are made of high-strength sealed material with strength of not less than 100 kg/cm upon explosion on the base of SVM polymeric coated lines whereas textile material has minimum expansion in length under operating load created by casing pressure within operating range of 8-20 KPa, not more than 0.5% along the base and filling and weighs not more than 400 g/m with thickness of 0.35-0.4 mm. Reflecting element is fixed at the corners of casing. Handrail is arranged along the perimeter of planes of reflecting element and fixed to the casing in attaching points of reflecting element.
EFFECT: design of reliable radar reflector owing to casing construction having minimum deviations from geometric form when being filled.
