FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, namely to landscape gardening. Summer chip budding is carried out at the R. rugosa main root for the depth of 4-5 cm from the root crown. The eye with a scutellum is tied by a polyethylene film 60-80 mcm thick completely and left under the ground until the next spring. In spring the soil is uncovered, the tying material is removed and the root stock is cut under the root crown.
EFFECT: increasing level of the eye establishment, safety in winter, increasing average diametre of the rose yearlings and reducing labour input.
