FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: used to increase the survival rate of buds and the yield of seedlings when performing late-summer inoculation of fruit crops. The method includes connecting the eye to the rootstock and protecting the eye with film. In this case, budding is carried out in open ground at the butt on August 25-31. The inoculated rootstocks are dug up after the air temperature has dropped to+ 4÷+ 5°C, stored in the autumn-winter period in storage at a temperature+ 3÷+ 5°C with the roots placed in a moistened substrate, planted in winter-spring in containers with soil in protected ground conditions or in spring in open ground. After planting, the film is removed, the plants are cut into buds and the cut area is covered with graft seal.
EFFECT: increasing the survival rate of eyes and the yield of seedlings during late summer inoculation.
