FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: system of extracting CO₂ comprises an absorption column 13 and a recovery column 15. CO₂-saturated solution 14 forms in the absorption column 13 by bringing CO₂-containing gas 11 into contact with CO₂-absorbing solution 12. The CO₂-saturated solution 14 is fed into the recovery column 15, where a stripped solution 16 forms due to removal of CO₂ from the saturated solution 14. CO₂ removed from the saturated solution and released in the top part of the recovery column 15 is compressed using compressors 44-1 and 44-2. Part of the stripped solution 16a is extracted and undergoes heat exchange in devices 45-1 and 45-2 with heat obtained from compressing in compressors 44-1 and 44-2. The heated stripped solution is fed into recovery column 15.

EFFECT: reduced energy consumption in the recovery system.
