FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed screen comprises the frame with crosswise support beams connected to the screen sidewalls, screening surface consisting of several sections with screen components, section fasteners and box with vertical walls. Aforesaid fasteners consist of "П"-like-cross section lengthwise strips welded to support beams from above in midplane and subscreen frames of aforesaid sections with crosswise rods fitted in orifices of the said "П"-like strips with the help of plates and bolts closed by covers. Screen elements made from thermoplastic polyurethane are attached in pairs to subscreen frames via ledges and bolts. Aforesaid ledges consists of two halves arranged on edges of screen element lower surfaces and fitted in the holes of subscreen frame crosswise rods. Screws are fitted in through holes between two adjacent screen elements formed by equal-size semicircular recesses on screen element side walls and those of ledge half. Crosswise support beams and joints of the box sidewalls with screening surface are closed by inclined flat protective shields, welded to support beams above screening surfaces and bolted to box sidewalls. Fasteners and all protective shields have wear-resistant coating. Proposed screen has inlet and outlet chutes bolted to strips of extreme support beams and crossbeams arranged on the box sidewall ends.
EFFECT: higher wear resistance, improved operating properties, lower costs of servicing.
