FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device designed to transfer carriage wheel pairs from one track onto another comprises fixed track section, auxiliary wheels, braking clamp, auxiliary track with "ski" attached thereto to actuate braking clamps via levers, braking clamp skates and roller assy. Retainers to lock wheels on track are arranged in cylindrical section of auxiliary wheels. There is a roller fixed on retainer end to get in contact with the axle radius groove. There is a recess made in the central part of upper track units.

EFFECT: higher reliability, improved operating performances, reduced wear of wheel flange and rail surface.
