FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wheelsets designed for moving along tracks of different gauges. Proposed wheelset contains wheels mounted on hollow sleeves enclosing fixed axle. Fixing mechanisms enclose sleeve and axle. Housing of fixing mechanism interacts with insert through engagement members, thus embracing tilted surfaces of inclined tooth of sleeve and fixed axle fixing them relative to each other. EFFECT: improved reliability and rigidity of fixing of wheelset, provision of mounting with available axle-box suspensions. 3 cl, 6 dwg
