FIELD: explosives.

SUBSTANCE: pyrotechnic composition for formation of a smoke masking curtain contains phosphor-containing granules, a thermal mix of an aluminium-magnesium powder and sodium nitrate, fluoroplastic as an oxidiser, thicol as binder, manganese oxide (IV) as the stabiliser, dibutylphthalate as a polymeric component and aerosil or graphite as the technological additive. As phosphor-containing granules, composition contains granules of 87-92 wt % of red phosphorus, which is retarded by granules of 8-10 wt % of fluorine rubber and 0.5-2.5 wt % of graphite distributed in volume.

EFFECT: increase of burning time in smoke generation mode and increase of formed smoke curtain masking action efficiency.
