FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in cold rolling, annealing and pinch-rolling of strips, upon which strip is produced of h=0.7-2.0 mm thickness out of steel containing, wt %: 0.10-0.15 of carbon and 0.05-0.17 of silicon; annealing is carried out in bell-type furnaces with nitrogen-hydrogen protective atmosphere at temperature 690°C by bench thermocouple during 25-53 hours depending on weight of lower roll in pile and width of strip; then strip is conditioned under hood with turned-off burners during 2-6 hours; further strip is unpacked at 130°C by same thermocouple, while pinch-rolling is carried out with reduction within 0.7-1.5%.
EFFECT: production of strip steel with required strength properties.
