MANUFACTURING METHOD OF HEAVY FASCINES OF BIOPOSITIVE CONSTRUCTION Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC E02B3/12

Abstract RU 2369687 C1

FIELD: construction industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to hydraulic construction of environment-oriented shore protection constructions in erodible river beds and channels. Manufacturing method of heavy fascines of biopositive construction involves brush cover filled with soil. First, there made is a meshed cover with light fascines attached in tight rows to the net, then, meshed cover with light fascines is laid along the segment tray of the rack so that centre line of the cover passes along the tray axis. Bags with fertile soil, which are connected to each other, are laid above light fascines, after that, free ends of meshed cover are strained around bags and put together from above. Soft gabion net is used as meshed cover. Handles made in the form of eyes and meant for laying and mounting fascines on the slope are provided on both ends of heavy fascine at bonding points. Bags made from geonet, which are filled with fertile vegetable soil and seeds of perennial grasses and bushes, and light fascines with diametre of 10-15 mm made from dry reed along the length of heavy fascine 2-2.5 m, are manufactured before. The rack with segment tray is manufactured of grid structures arranged on slides with the possibility of being moved in both directions. Segment tray is made as per heavy fascine dimensions and located on the rack with flexible system turning the tray to both sides, with angle of rotation of up to 180°. Segment tray is equipped on both ends with manual levers for turning over and discharging the manufactured heavy fascine.

EFFECT: invention allows improving efficiency of attachment of coastal slopes of shores and dams, providing increase of service life of the construction, and contributes to rehabilitation of natural environment in coastal areas.
