FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: retaining walls of biopositive design comprise stages made of heavy fascines and gabion mats laid in layers. Heavy fascines are laid horizontally in two layers into base of the first stage and along slope. Gabion mats are laid above heavy fascines and normally to them in tight later to form platform of the first stage. The second stage of retaining walls is made of single layer of heavy fascines and single layer of gabion mats laid on top and normally to row of heavy fascines, which form upper platform of the second stage. Heavy fascines are made with diametre of 0.5-0.7 m and length of 2-2.5 m from soil filler and flexible shells. Filler is made of bags filled with fertile soil with addition of seeds of perennial herbs and bushes with developed root system. Shell of heavy fascines is made of tight layers of dry cane and flexible gabion net tightened around cane layers. Gabion mats are made of light fascines and perforated pipes laid in alternating layers and wrapped in gabion net. On top of the second stage at slope there is a fixture provided from gabion mats, filler of which is made of tight rows of light fascines laid normally to line of slope inclination. Meshy shells of heavy fascines and gabion mats of the first and second stages in areas of their contact are connected to each other in some areas by galvanized metal wire with diametre of 2.5-3 mm.

EFFECT: invention allows to reduce material costs for construction and promotes recovery of water protection green zones along water beds.
