FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, physiotherapy, balneology. Method involves interpulmonary percussion ventilation (IPV). IPV is preceded by 12-15 inhalations per course, and followed by remedial exercises including drainage exercises, position drainage. Phitotherapy is performed daily, involving expectorant herbal mixture administration for 5 days, anti-inflammatory mixture for 5 days and general health-improving mixture for 5 days. Manual massage of chest is performed. Nitrogen-silicon baths are taken. Procedures are performed in the given sequence. Parametres of interpulmonary percussion ventilation are selected with account of disease form. For bronchi obstruction, broncholitics inhalations are performed over nebuliser. Work pressure of IPV comprises 1.6-2.5 bar, percussion frequency is 250-300 cycles per minute for first two 3-5 minute periods and 75-220 cycles per minute for third period of 3-5 minutes. Aspiration/expiration percussion ratio is 1:2.2 to 1:2.4, maximum expiratory pressure is under 20 mbar. The course includes 6-8 procedures. In the absence of bronchi obstruction, mineral water inhalations are performed. Work pressure of IPV comprises 2.0-3.5 bar, percussion frequency is selected individually by sensations of patient within 75-400 cycles per minute range. Aspiration/expiration percussion ratio is 1:1.5 to 1:2.5, maximum expiratory pressure is under 30 mbar. Procedure longs for 9-15 minutes and consists of three percussion periods, 3-5 minutes each. The course includes 7-10 procedures.
EFFECT: reduced medication load, improved clinical state and physical capacity due to improved state or cardiorespiratory system, improved bronchus drainage with bronchus permeability improvement or restoration due to enhanced mucociliary clearance and anti-inflammatory effect, enhanced adaptability of patient.
