FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of bisphenol A pellets. Proposed method comprises spraying the melt of bisphenol A from the nozzle arranged the top of granulating column and feeding cooling gas flow from the column bottom to its top. Note here that the following conditions are met, i.e. a) diametre of nozzle orifices varies from 0.3 to 1.0 mm; b) bisphenol A melt efflux rate varies from 0.5 to 1.8 m/s, and c) cooling gas flow rate varies from 0.7 to 2.0 m/s.
EFFECT: stable production of bisphenol pellets with uniform sizes, higher volumetric density and strength.
