SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of extracting a crystalline adduct of bisphenol A and phenol from a solution of bisphenol A in phenol, obtained from a reaction of phenol with acetone in the presence of an acid catalyst, involving crystallisation of the adduct of bisphenol A and phenol from said solution and separation of the suspension obtained during crystallisation, using the frabric of a horizontal belt filter which is woven from a thread with constant diameter and having air permeability between 50 and 100 ml/cm2/s, to obtain a crystalline adduct of bisphenol A and phenol and a mother solution, wherein content of liquid in the layer of crystals of the adduct of bisphenol A and phenol deposited on the filter fabric is equal to or less than 30 wt %, and filtration is carried out at temperature between 30 and 80°C and pressure between 60 and 95 kPa.
EFFECT: method enables to extract the end product using stable filtration parameters.
