FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for stabilization of rolling parametres at axial shifting of working rolls during preparation of working rolls profiled along contour; parametres are determined by polynomial of 3-d degree y(x)=a1x+a2x2+a3x3 in stands of hot and cold rolling equipped with facilities of axial shifting of working rolls. The procedure consists in dumping out of a stand, in measuring temperature along length of the body of the roll and in roll body regrinding. Minimal change of value of average drawing of strip in the stand at axial shifting is facilitated due to factor a1 regulated at regrinding with mathematic dependence considering length of the body of the working roll, weight average width of rolled strips for a certain period, for example, for half-year, and average value of axial shifting for the same period. If regrinding of working rolls is carried out in heated after rolling condition, then factors a1 and a2 are increased for a certain value, while factor a3 is decreased.
EFFECT: improved quality of rolled strips due to stabilization of rolling parametres by means of decreasing changes of average draw in stand at axial shifting of working rolls.
