FIELD: metal rolling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling production. Method involves hot rolling of thin-sheet steel in stands with axial displacement of working rolls. Based on averaged values of lengthland depth Δ regulated roughening of working rolls, controlled shaping of working rolls is carried out on underfloor sections. Axial displacement of working rolls is carried out in opposite directions and only in one direction, at that at the end of mounting batch shift of upper and lower working rolls is regulated by mathematical relationship.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to eliminate underarm bulges of rolled strips.
