FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to production of multi-layer structures. The method consists in the stage of producing a composition containing powder of alloy Fe-Cr and at least one of oxides Fe, Cr, Ni, Co, Zn and Cu. The first layer is formed out of the said composition. At least one additional layer out of the same composition is formed on one of the sides of the first layer; this additional layer differs by chemical contents and/or by at least one of properties chosen from porosity and degree of shrinkage. Further the said layers are subject to heat treatment in atmosphere containing oxygen and are sintered in reduction atmosphere. Also amount of iron in finished material corresponding to the first layer is 50-90 wt % in ratio to total weight of finished material after sintering.

EFFECT: control over shrinkage and porosity.
