FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of granular compound fertiliser, and more specifically to a method of producing granular ammophos, which is the most widely used fertiliser. Method of producing granular ammophos involves neutralisation of phosphoric acid with ammonia obtaining phosphate pulp, granulation by simultaneous spraying on recycle particles of the obtained pulp and phosphoric acid, drying the final product with subsequent removal of ammonia from the drying agent. Acid and pulp are sprayed on the recycle in two non-tangent streams with ratio of value of delivery pressure of the stream of acid to value of delivery pressure of the stream of pulp equal to 1:(3-5), respectively. Acid is sprayed at temperature below temperature of wet-bulb thermometre. The source of phosphoric is adsoption wastes, obtained from purification of spent drying agent of phosphoric acid.
EFFECT: ammophos with homogenous chemical composition with high output of commercial-grade 2-5 mm fraction.
