SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. Method for drying phosphoric acid pulp in a drying drum in the production of mineral fertilizers is carried out by supplying a heat transfer medium with a temperature of 400–450 °C, caused by an increase of the difference between the moisture content of the heat transfer medium and the wet surface of the solid material due to the introduction of sulfuric acid production exhaust gases into the heat transfer medium composition in a ratio of 65–35 %, under this method, exhaust gases of sulfuric acid production are fed to the drying drum to spray the pulp onto the granulated material blanket.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce fuel consumption during the pulp drying process in the production of mineral fertilizers.
