FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: slide lock of fold comprises slider in the form of bar with handle, guide folds and end cavity arranged with the possibility of bar working end insertion in it with fold closed incompletely and being locked in case of full insertion of working end. Lock is equipped with tubular traction rod installed at height, which is not accessible for a disabled person. Traction rod is vertically fixed to bar handle and is arranged with the possibility of its length variation. At lower end of traction rod there is a handle fixed in the form of revolution solid coaxial to traction rod, with smooth soft surface. In order to fix traction rod in non-working position, there is a latch provided under bar with jaw parallel to fold. Method for application of upper slider lock of fold consists in the fact that forces providing for fold opening or closing are manually applied to master link of kinematic mechanism, comprising lock with handle. Forces are applied to handle of traction rod fixed to bar handle.

EFFECT: convenience of use due to provision of possibility for a disabled person to independently close and open the fold.
