FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed universal hydraulic power machine comprises board, base and crosspiece and upper and lower grippers fitted at their center. Note that, structurally, the machine represents a rectangular frame that supports two hydraulic power cylinders to produce compression and extension forces onto tested specimen, and acting as columns. The latter have their rod ends coupled with the crosspiece that adds the forces of both hydraulic cylinders. Note that uniform travel of the said rods is ensured by synch mechanism via increasing or decreasing the amount of working fluid fed into both or one cylinder.
EFFECT: notable decrease in sizes and weight, due to perfected design and new principle of operation.
