FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means (testing machines) and methods of mechanical testing of materials for tensile, compression, bending and low-cycle fatigue. Machine contains a base, two hydraulic cylinders fixed on the upper plane of the base symmetrically with respect to the axis of the loading device, a crossmember fastened to the rods of the hydraulic cylinders, two grippers for fixing the tested samples, force sensor, displacement sensor, compression test fixture containing upper and lower plates mounted on grips of a loading device, a bend test device containing a bending crossbar with support rollers for mounting the sample and a support with a set of knives mounted on the clamps of the loading device, as well as a pumping unit containing a high-pressure pump, a safety valve, hydraulic valves for controlling grips, a pressure compensator and a servo-valve for controlling hydraulic cylinders (loading the sample). Hydraulic cylinders mounted on the upper plane of the base are made sealed with two cavities: the lower cavities are connected to the channel “A” of the servo-valve, the upper cavities are connected to the channel “B”, and between them both cavities are connected through a choke of small cross section.

EFFECT: significant reduction in the area occupied by the machine, simplifying the control system and reducing the cost of machine, the ability to install the machine on vibration supports directly on the floor, compactness, improving the quality of control.
