FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed nanodevice for dividing optical signals contains a group of optical branches, input optical nanofibre, input optical nanofibre N-output splitter, output optical N-input nanofibre coupler, optical nanofibre N-output splitter, feedback optical N-input nanofibre coupler, two telescopic nanotubes - internal and external, a source of constant optical signal, optically linked together correspondingly.
EFFECT: solution for dividing coherent and non-coherent optical signals with speed of operation, potentially possible for optical processor circuits, and nanoscale design of the device.
