HIVE Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A01K47/06

Abstract RU 2370950 C2

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, namely to bee keeping. Hive contains body, magazine extension, frames from bars and separating grid. Separating grid consists of separate planks, each of which is divided into two separate parts, fixed at the top on edges of upper frame bar in such way that bent edges of plank parts are directed towards said upper bar. Total width of upper bar with plank parts must not be more than 3 millimetre smaller than the greatest width of frame side bar. Adjacent parts of planks of neighbouring frames form openings of separating grid, regulated by displacement of frames in hive.

EFFECT: invention ensures reduction of efforts of bees on adhering separating grid to frames, as well as of further efforts of bee keeper aimed at cleaning frames from wax and propolis.
