FIELD: technological processes, casting.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to foundry. Compression box comprises pipe with filling window separated from back end by means of link and jacket with external annular thrust near front end, comprising two fixed halves. Annular grooves are arranged on external surface of pipe and internal surface of jacket, in which protrusions are arranged, in the form of semi-rings attached to jacket. Upper half of jacket is arranged at the back end shorter than its lower half at least by sum of filling window and link lengths.
EFFECT: temperature difference is reduced in box between lower and upper parts of box, as well as longitudinal bending of its back part due to thermal stresses in its walls.
