FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to technology of machine building, in particular to methods for processing with needle milling with static-pulse loading of tool. Rotary motion is imparted to processed stock. Longitudinal feed, rotary motion and transverse feed are imparted to device for needle milling. Device is used for needle milling, which comprises body of needle cutter in the form of disk with cutting elements arranged at the end of periphery in the form of nap bundles made of V-shaped bent metal wires, rigidly fixed on plate with their one end. Nap bundles with plates are installed in body of needle cutter at the angle to longitudinal axis with convex part to periphery. Tops of nap bundles contact with a cam disk fixed relative to body and having protrusions and indents on internal surface and embracing the needle cutter. Additional transverse displacement is imparted to cutting elements. Cantilever part of nap bundle is straightened as nap bundle approaches protrusion of cam disk, and cantilever part of nap bundle contacts with support installed in central part of working end of body.
EFFECT: expansion of technological resources, increased efficiency and reduced costs.
