FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to abrasive treatment and can be used in making an abrasive tool on organic binder. Abrasive mixture for the tool contains the following, in wt %: grinding material - 69 to 74, organic binder - 9 to 10, wastes from repairing grinding wheels - 5 to 15, cryolite - 3 to 5, hydrated calcium oxide - 2 to 2.5, calcium carbonate - 2.5 to 3, pyrite - 4.5 to 5.5. Wastes from repairing grinding wheels consist of corundum (α-Al2O3) - 60 to 70 wt %, silicon carbide (SiC) - 20 to 30 wt %, fluorine - 2 to 3 wt %, sulphur - 1 to 2 wt %.
EFFECT: increased mechanical strength and durability of the tool, while retaining its cutting properties, as well as reduction of its cost price and contamination of the environment.
