FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to parachute systems. Method of actuating parachute consists in forced parachute operation initiated by braking parachute pack with the help of cut-off calibrated link connected to the cab via halyard. Device to initiate parachute operation comprises seat-bag, parachute pack and back to be separated from pilot and to pull parachute out by halyard from aforesaid pack. Bag flaps are opened by halyard, its one end being fastened on aircraft. Halyard is attached to soft flap of seat-bag by calibrated seam, which is cut of, as seat-bag moves off aircraft, to ensure constant tensioning. Device to unlatch seat-bag flaps and cut-off calibrated ring to brake chamber accommodating packed parachute are arranged between the other end halyard and parachute pack chamber. Note that chamber and pack are jointed together.
EFFECT: reduced parachute operation time and weight.
