FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the aviation industry, in particular to parachute equipment, and is intended for training and combat jumps from aircraft (hereinafter – AC), performed by paratroopers of all specialties with full service weapons and equipment (or without it), as well as individual paratroopers or groups of paratroopers with total flight weight of up to 160 kg. In the parachute system containing the main parachute, according to the invention, the parachute is made with a canopy with area of 100 m2 of a round shape with a smooth aerodynamic surface and an inwardly bent lower edge made of twenty eight panels, each of which is stitched from seven wedges with a “lock” seam with by stitching the tape. Wedges are made from cloths of fabric with low air permeability and with surface density of 35-40 g/m2. On the canopy there are two double counter-compensating valves, front and rear, for neutral descent of the parachute system after putting into action, control lines are attached to the edges of the valves, which are brought out to the front free ends of the suspension system and end with control links. In addition, in the lower part of the canopy there are ten narrow slots, in the centre of the canopy there is a pole hole, in the upper part of the canopy of the parachute system there are twelve unloading slots. Also, the main parachute contains twenty-eight main lines, which by one end are fixed to the canopy loops, by the other – to the semi-ring buckles of the free ends of the suspension system, control lines are attached to the edges of the front valves, control lines are brought to front free ends of the suspension system and end with control links. Harness is a connecting link between parachutist and parachute system and is intended for convenient placement of parachutist in it. Harness consists of the following main parts: two main straps, two pairs of free ends, back-and-shoulder straps, a chest strap, a waist strap, two leg straps, a circular strap of a parachutist seat. Knapsack is intended for packing the canopy of the main parachute with lines laid in the chamber, parts of free ends of the harness and arrangement of the safety device. Knapsack consists of the following main parts: an overlay bottom, a right and a left valve. Main parachute chamber is designed to fit the canopy with parachute system lines. Stabilizing system is designed to provide for stabilized descent of parachutist and introduction of parachute system. Stabilizing system consists of a canopy base, lines, a stabilizer with a link.
EFFECT: expansion of technical capabilities of parachute system due to, first, possibility of its use with total flight weight of up to 160 kg, secondly, possibility of creating horizontal speed back by pulling control lines, third, parachute canopy neutral position during descent, fourth, its application not only with standard input used in airborne forces, by forced introduction of stabilizing parachute and introduction of parachute into action by parachutist, by pulling out link of manual opening or parachute safety device, after three and more seconds of stabilization, but also by application according to "transit" scheme, id est by forced introduction of stabilizing parachute using it as pilot parachute and without using parachute safety device.
