FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a biocidal composition for anticorrosive protection of inner surfaces of pipeslines and steel tanks, meant for long-term storage of petroleum products, including engine fuel (petrol, jet fuel and diesel fuel), and subject to electrochemical and microbiological corrosion, particularly under the effect of sulphate reducing bacteria. The coating composition contains the following components with their ratios given in pts. wt: 100 epoxy enamel TANEP-622, 0.2 to 0.3 polyhexamethyleneguanidine hydrochloride biocidal component, 0.2 to 0.3 target additive - alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride. The biocidal component is used in a mixture with the target additive in mass ratio of 1:1.
EFFECT: invention enhances biocidal properties with respect to actinomycetes and fungi, suppresses growth of sulphate reducing bacteria.
