FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to jet printing ink with improved ozone resistance. The jet printing ink composition contains metallised phthalocyanine dye and a liquid base, which is the carrier for the dye and contains an amine additive. The amine additive is in concentration sufficient for increasing ozone resistance of the ink, wherein the increase is determined by comparing ozone resistance of the ink to control jet printing ink which does not contain amine additive. The method of printing images involves applying a jet of the jet printing composition onto a print carrier coated with an ink sensitive layer. The ink sensitive layer used is a layer which contains particles of semimetal oxide or metal oxide.
EFFECT: design of ink for jet printing on photocarriers which contain semimetal oxide or metal oxide, with reduction of effect of atmospheric ozone.
