FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves putting a trace element into a yeast culture medium in concentration of 0.1 to 10 mg/dm3. The trace element used is a bioorganic compound of silicon with glucose, which is a product of reacting sodium silicate with glucose.
EFFECT: method allows for optimising, intensifying, stabilising and lowering the cost of the fermentation process by 10 to 15%, obtaining a fermentation product with better taste and highly saturated with carbon dioxide.
