SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy field, particularly to compounds of cast iron. It can be used in mechanical engineering. Cast iron contains, wt %: carbon 2.5-2.7; silicon 0.4-0.6; manganese 0.4-0.6; chrome 0.2-0.3; nickel 2.7-2.9; copper 0.4-0.6; phosphorus 0.001-0.002; molybdenum 1.4-1.6; niobium 1.2-1.4; aluminium 0.4-0.6; irconium 0.1-0.12; boron 0.01-0.03; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: obtaining cast iron, which allows high brittle strength.
