FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: edge of cloth consists of reinforced structure adjacent to solder and made of web threads and polypropylene binder. Web is thermally shrunk, cut along its width by a cutting tool with a temperature of 450-650°C to make a solder and introduction of polymer binder melt from upper and lower sides of web. Melt is supplied under pressure from extruder. As polymer binder they use polypropylene with index of melt fluidity of 0.6-15. Amount of polymer applied per unit of web length is defined depending on thickness of web, surface density, width of edge, total number of main and weft thread types, from which the web is woven, density of material thread, weight portion of thread in web, volume shrinkage of melt and density of polypropylene.
EFFECT: improved mechanical and hydrolytic stability at high temperatures in atmosphere of high humidity, and resistance to side impact and abrasive loads.
