FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method to control frequency converter with pronounced DC link consists in setting minimum current of Id filter throttle, measuring instantaneous currents of filter Id throttle of controlled gate and instantaneous voltage at the output of rectifier uD and controlled gate uv. It comprises also generating and sending control signal to controlled gate at the moment, equality uD=fLD(lD-iD)+uv is satisfied, picking up control signals from controlled gate at oscillating drop of instantaneous current flowing through controlled gate to zero level.
EFFECT: higher reliability.
